The Institute for Revolutionary Multi Media Arts - IRMMA, stands for the decolonization of media representation by changing the access of those who have traditionally been the creators of media. Through readdressing traditional pedagogical approaches, IRMMA is dedicated to reformulating the presentation of technological teachings taking into account the inherent instructive challenges of complex programs. Technology as any skill can only of benefit if it is made accessible and IRMMA explores de-colonial methodologies to educate people in a more relevant way. People need to feel connected in some way to what they are learning in order for them to truly absorb the information. We need to feel connected in some way to what we are learning in order for us to truly absorb the information. It is important to stay up to date and competitive but it is more important to have new technologies serve the relevant needs of the communities they are attempting to improve.
